Call Center Telugu Movie Review

Release Date: Sep 12, 2008
Cast: Vamsi, Anand, Pooja, Priyanka, Duvvassi Mohan, Melkote etc

Call Center is the movie which lacks the story and attributes to the vulgarity concept more. It is a known fact, that small budget movies which have dim star cast rely on the vulgarity concept more to up-raise their film. But Call Center steps further and tries to capture only the impropriety concept more and the catapulted substance less.

Story:

Swathy is a young girl who finishes her studies in her village and heads for a job in Hyderabad. Krishna, on the other hand manages to bag a job in a call center of Hyderabad. Swathy by her immense talent lands up in the call center job in which Krishna is an employee. Swathy looks after her boarding and lodging in a working womens hostel and Krishna as usual lives in a bachelors room.
Krishna, while migrating to Hyderabad promises his parents, that he will support them with enough finances with which they can live up perfectly. However, due to his addictions to the western culture in the call center the finance factor dulls a bit in his life.

The salary which Krishna fetches is insufficient for his expenses. Soon he feels that the Call center job is not quenching his desires. So to pep up his life he decides to flirt with the girl in the call center. Meanwhile, Swathy gets worried for Krishna due to the love bug in her heart and discovers that Krishna parents must be supported financially every month. Since, the hero is unable to pay the expenses Swathy decides to support Krishna Parents financially. She sends some money in camouflage of Krishna and his parents accept it thinking that their son is well earning in his job.
The story is spiced with some twits and turns and then it ends up happily in the end.

Performances:

Vamsi Krishna of Happy Days fame is alright in the male lead character. His dialogue delivery is good and his smiling face is also little bit digestible. But his expressions and his dancing skills must be improved a lot.
Anand, Suman shetty, Nalla Venu, and duvvasi Mohan act well in their respective characters. Kota Srinivas rao, the versatile actor lands up in the end scenes in reciprocating the youth with some witty and useful thoughts.
Coming to the heroine Pooja, she seems to be a fit for nothing except for the sexy doll role. Her expressions and dialogues are a pain to be watched. It is better if she acts less and shows more in her coming movies. Her petite curves and long legs are better than her face.

Music of the film is below average. No tunes in the film are impressive and so the music fails to elate the film.
Comedy with the usual dialogues is not up to the mark. Except for one joke all the rest are either old wine in a new bottle or outdated.
Coming to the direction part a little bit of negative reviews are skinning out of the movie. Mainly the concept and the story revolve around the call center employees. But instead of showing the lives in many angles the vulgarity part is drilled out to the maximum. The audience will get a feeling that the women employees working in a call center earning their bread and butter are ill character women and ready to flirt, sleep, and indulge in live in relationship without any bounds or likings.
The whole movie makes the women degradable and especially the people who work in call centers are labeled as sex crazy idiots working for pleasure.
On the whole, it is a pity that the movie lacks some vital points and only focuses to degrade the call center girls as bad ladys who are ready to do anything for money.

Bottom Line:

Movie will only last for 10 days in the theaters and latter on it will fade according to its fate.
