Story:

A full length action masala, the story is about the beef headed Satya (Shivarajkumar) who believes in getting something when he sets his mind on it and is equipped with enough strength to outnumber any number of baddies and also a bold heart. Things change for him when he sees a girl in a temple in Mantralayam when goes with his family and his thoughts keep wavering about her even after they get back. Satya's sister realizes that and after a bit of dilemma, he reveals his feelings. Now the search starts for the girl and through some investigation they discover that the girl is Veda (Genelia) and she is from Kurnool in Andhra. Satya goes to Kurnool with the sole objective of expressing his love to her which she is not aware of and very theatrically, she happens to love the tune set by his mouth organ without knowing who he is. However, there is one problem, Veda is the darling sister of Ranga Reddy who literally rules Kurnool and always has a band of bad men ready to slaughter. How did Satya get to Veda, does she accept his love, what Ranga Reddy does to stop Satya, all this forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:

The director ensured that no compromise is done on the masala aspect of the film and in this process he has not focused much on the story and the subject. His narration was predictable and the presentation was sometimes gripping and sometimes loose. The songs are good, the editing is smart but could have been better, and the camerawork has done a brilliant job. Shivarajkumar has yet again come with a powerhouse performance and his dance and fights were par excellence, however his new get up looked a bit different but okay. Genelia gave enough glamour to the screen and is really a pretty doll. The others like Srinath, Vinayaprakash, Bullet Prakash, Sangeetha did their roles with the required energy levels and added value to the film.

Conclusion:

When a big mass hero is doing a film, it looks like the realistic aspects and the logical areas of the story are not much into application. Also, the concentration of Telugu in the film is one diversion which kind of made the audience look here and there trying to figure out what is happening. The film has enough doses of comedy, violence, action and romance to keep the mass audience entertained but then there is nothing more to it. The film will find its way at the box office but expecting a blockbuster out of it might be a far fetched idea.
